Southern Ndebele is a Bantu language spoken by the Ndebele people of South Africa. The native name of the language is isiNdebele, and the people who speak it are known as amaNdebele.

isiNdebele has 1,1 million native speakers and is spoken mainly in the province of Mpumalanga of South Africa. isiNdebele is a member of the Nguni language group, and is most closely related to isiXhosa, isiZulu, Northern Ndebele and siSwati.
